An app growth consultant who joins web and app into one funnelApp marketing for subscription apps, without the app marketing agency

An app growth consultant finds where users drop out between the ad and the renewal, then fixes it. My deepest experience is merging the old web, ecommerce and funnels world with the apps world, and marketing both full cycle, while cutting bloated costs and keeping things lean.

What does an app growth consultant look at?

I build and grow subscription apps, so I look at the whole path: the ad, the web funnel or store listing, onboarding, the paywall, the trial and whether people are still paying months later.

  • App user acquisition: paid campaigns and creative that bring in the right users, not just cheap ones.
  • Onboarding that gets new users to their first win quickly.
  • Paywalls and trials: offers, pricing layout and timing, tested against each other.
  • App analytics you can trust, from install through to renewal and cancellation.
  • Lifecycle messages that bring users back and convert trials.
  • Product direction, so the roadmap works on what moves retention and revenue.

App marketing agency, or a consultant who builds apps?

App marketing agencies often stop at the install. The expensive problems usually sit after it. Because I build subscription apps myself, I can talk to your product team in their language and help decide what to change inside the app, not only in the ads.

Retention runs on email and messaging too. See email and lifecycle marketing.

What you get

  • Cut the bloatStop spending hundreds and thousands a month on tools and retainers that don't earn their keep.
  • Bring it in-houseYour ads, email and data, owned by you instead of rented from agencies and platforms.
  • Real full-funnel attributionEvery customer followed from the ad they clicked to the sale to whether they stay. Real numbers from your own sales data, not Meta dashboard numbers.
  • One hub you controlYour numbers, customers and campaigns in one place that belongs to you.
  • One person at the level of fiveA setup lean enough that one capable person on your side can operate at the level of five.

How does it work?

  1. Diagnose

An outside-in audit of your offer, ads, website, funnel, emails and app store listing, seen the way a customer or a competitor sees them. No logins needed. Any figures about other businesses come from third-party tools, so treat them as estimates.

  2. Run and fix

If we work together, you give me access to the accounts I need, such as analytics, ad accounts and your email platform. Then I run the campaigns, fix the leaks in the funnel and build what's missing, or guide the people who already do it.

  3. Weekly reporting

A plain report every week from your own data: what we spent, what came back, what's working, what isn't and what happens next.

Questions people ask

Are you a mobile app marketing agency?

No. I'm a consultant who builds and grows subscription apps. You work with me directly, and I look at acquisition, the paywall and retention together.

What does an app growth consultant look at first?

Where users drop out. Usually that's between install and first value, at the paywall, or at the end of the trial. Fixing those often matters more than buying more installs.

Can you help with app analytics?

Yes. Good decisions need numbers you trust, so I check the tracking and set up reporting on the steps that matter: installs, trials, conversions, renewals and cancellations.

Do you work with apps that aren't subscription apps?

My deepest experience is subscription apps that also sell on the web. If your model is different, tell me about it and I'll say honestly whether I'm the right fit.

Want more paying users from your app?

Send me your app's store link, what you spend on tools and where you think users drop out. I'll start with an outside-in review.
